Many people find that it is more cost effective to hire an in-home full time nurse than to sell their homes and move into an assisted living facility or independent living condo. Be sure to find out exactly what time of medical experience the caregiver has, and what sort of duties they will perform. You may be able to find an employee that will also prepare meals and do light housekeeping in addition to caring for your senior family member.
