It is important to see medical credentials if you are hiring an actual licensed R.N. or registered nurse’s aide. Ask to see schooling certificates and other forms that will help you to determine the experience of your possible in-home care nurse.  Also don't forget to get the input of your senior citizen family member that will be receiving the care, as they will be spending the most time with the caregiver.

There are often times many cases of neglect in care home nursing and you don’t want your family member to become a statistic. Trust your instincts about a caregiver, and check their references and employment history.
